What should I know about cricket jerseys?

Corporate cricket
Inter-company tournaments and box cricket leagues are where most office cricket jerseys go. A company often fields several teams, and the usual answer is one design in a different colour per team, ordered together and delivered to one office. Every order comes with a GST invoice, which is what the finance team will ask for first.
Collar, neck and sleeve
A collared jersey reads as traditional and suits club cricket and longer formats. A round neck is lighter and more common in T20 and box cricket. Full sleeves protect bowlers and fielders from the afternoon sun, and half sleeves are cooler for batting in the heat, so some teams order the set in both.
Sponsors and names
Sponsors in local cricket pay for specific positions, so agree which logo goes on the chest, which on the sleeve and which on the back before the design is drawn. Send them as vector files where you can. On the back, the name goes above the number, and short names or surnames read better from the boundary than full names do.
