The method follows the garment. All five are done on our own floor, so your logo never leaves our hands for someone else's print shop.

What should I know about varsity jackets?

Four places to mark, and what goes where
A varsity jacket has four places that carry meaning. The left chest takes an initial or a small crest, the back takes the name of the college, club or company in an arc, the sleeve takes a year or a number, and the inside of the collar can carry the person's own name. Deciding which of the four the order uses, before anyone draws anything, keeps the mockup to one round.
Embroidered or badged
Lettering on a varsity jacket is either embroidered straight onto the panel or made as a badge and applied. Thread suits fine detail and small text. A badge suits large letters across the back, where a dense stitch would make the panel stiff. The mockup shows which way each mark is made, so the choice is made once, on screen.
For a batch, a team or a whole office
Colleges order them for a graduating batch, clubs for a season, and companies as the winter gift people actually wear. The way of ordering is the same: one sheet with the name as it should appear, the size and an address, delivered to one place or many across India, from our own factory, with Merch Labs in Bengaluru and Chennai to see the work in person.
