What should I know about customised mugs?
The short guide.
Ceramic or travel
A ceramic mug is the cheaper, more colourful option and it stays at a desk. An insulated travel mug costs more, carries less artwork and goes outside the building, which is where branded things do any work for you. For a hybrid team the travel mug is usually the better of the two.
Artwork on a curved surface
A mug is a cylinder, so artwork wraps and the two ends do not meet. Logos sit best on one side with clear space around them. Full wraps are possible but need the artwork built for it rather than stretched to fit.

Can the artwork wrap all the way round?
Yes, if the artwork is built for it. The two ends of a wrap do not meet on a mug, so a logo on one side with clear space around it usually reads better.
Ceramic or travel mug for a hybrid team?
A travel mug. It goes outside the building and to the home desk, which a ceramic mug rarely does.
Can mugs be printed in full colour?
Yes. Ceramic takes full colour artwork, which makes it a good place for a detailed logo.
Are the mugs dishwasher safe?
That depends on the mug and the print method chosen. We will tell you which applies to the option you pick.
Do you make the mugs?
No. Fleeke manufactures apparel. Mugs are sourced and branded by us.
