What should I know about embroidered polo shirts?

Where embroidery goes on a polo
Left chest is the default because it is where a logo on a collared shirt looks intended. The sleeve takes a second, smaller mark such as a department or a website, and the back yoke just below the collar takes a short line of text. The placket and button stand are the places to avoid: stitching there pulls the opening out of line, and it is the first thing people notice.
Logo detail on pique
Pique is a textured knit, and thread lies across that texture rather than into a smooth surface. Thin lines and very small lettering fill in or break up on it. Most logos survive untouched, but a tagline under the mark usually needs to be dropped or set larger, and the mockup shows that before anything is stitched rather than after.
Thread colour and polo colour
Contrast thread makes the logo the first thing seen. Tone on tone, thread a shade off the shirt, reads quieter and tends to be worn outside work as well. Core polo colours are available from one piece. A polo in your own Pantone is dyed to order, with a minimum of one roll of cloth, which is about 50 polos.

Will a small logo or tagline embroider clearly on pique?
Most logos do. Very thin lines and small lettering fill in on pique's texture, so a tagline under the mark is usually set larger or dropped. The mockup shows which, before anything is stitched.
If we reorder next year, will the polos match?
Yes. Your logo is digitised once and the spec is kept, so a reorder is stitched from the same file in the same thread colours as the first batch.
How much does an embroidered polo cost?
It depends on the polo colour, the size of the logo and how many places are stitched. Build one in the polo builder for an exact price, or send the logo and the count for a team quote with a mockup.
What is the minimum order for embroidered polo shirts?
One piece in core colours. Polos in your own Pantone are dyed to order, with a minimum of one roll of cloth, about 50 polos.
How long do embroidered polos take?
