Where embroidery works on a hoodie
Left chest, centre chest above the pocket, the sleeve and the side of the hood all take embroidery well. A large design across the back is possible, but it is heavy, it stiffens the fleece and it costs more than the same design printed. The common answer is embroidery where people look first and print on the back, which keeps the hoodie soft and the price sensible.
Stitch density on fleece
Fleece is soft and has some give, which is what makes a hoodie comfortable and what makes it harder to embroider than a polo. Too many stitches in a small area pull the cloth and pucker it. The stitch plan is checked against the fabric before it runs, and the mockup shows how the mark will sit. If what arrives is not what you approved, we reprint it free.
Tone on tone or contrast
Contrast thread makes the mark readable across a room, which suits event crews and teams. Thread a shade off the hoodie colour gives a quieter, textured logo, and for gifting that is often the version people keep wearing at weekends. Both are a thread choice on the same design, so it is worth seeing both on the mockup.
