What should I know about custom key chains?

Choosing the material
Metal reads as the most permanent and suits an engraved logo. Leather feels the most personal and ages well, with a debossed mark. Acrylic is the one to choose when the logo depends on its colours, because it takes full colour print. The right choice depends on whether the key chain is a keepsake or a give-away, and which of those it is should be decided before the artwork.
Keep the mark simple
A key chain is a small surface. A detailed logo loses its detail at that size, and fine lines can fill in on engraving or debossing. A one colour version of the logo, or the symbol on its own, almost always reads better. You approve a mockup of the key chain at its real size before anything is branded.
