What should I know about custom drinkware?

Choosing between a bottle, a mug and a tumbler
Start with where the person drinks. A team that travels or works out carries a bottle, so the seal matters most. A team at desks uses a mug every day, and ceramic takes the most detailed artwork. A tumbler sits between the two: a lid for the car or the walk in, and a shape that stays upright on a desk. For a mixed team, one of each across different boxes is a fair answer.
Engraving or print
Laser engraving removes the coating on steel to show the metal beneath, so it cannot peel and it lasts as long as the item. It is one colour by nature. Print carries your actual brand colours and is the choice when the logo depends on them, at the cost of wearing faster with heavy washing. Either way, you approve a mockup before anything is branded.

Start with where people drink. A bottle for teams that carry a bag, a mug for the desk, a tumbler for the car and the commute. For a mixed team, one of each across different boxes works.
How much does branded drinkware cost?
It depends on the item, the finish and the count. Send the count, or the budget per box if it is going in a gift, and the quote comes back per piece with GST and a mockup.
