The best file makes the best print. Here is what to send, in order of preference, and what we do if you only have a small logo.
The best: a vector file
AI, EPS, PDF or SVG. A vector is drawn with lines and curves rather than pixels, so it prints sharp at any size. If a designer made your logo, they have one. If your logo was made in Canva, download it as a PDF or SVG.
Next best: a large PNG
If you only have an image, send a PNG at 300 DPI at the size it will print, with a transparent background. A chest logo about 9 cm wide needs an image at least 1,100 pixels across.
If all you have is a small logo
Send it anyway. A logo copied from a website or an email signature is usually too small to print well, but we will tell you what is possible before anything is made, and redraw it if it needs it.
For embroidery
Embroidery is not printed from your file directly. The logo is digitised: turned into stitch paths for the machine. A few things help:
- Keep text at least 5 to 6 mm tall, or it closes up.
- Very fine lines and gradients simplify in thread.
- Fewer colours read more cleanly on a small chest logo.
Colours
Tell us your brand colours as Pantone or hex values if you have them. Thread and ink colours are matched as closely as the method allows, and you see a mockup first.
Privacy
Your logo stays private: files are stored securely and seen only by our team. Upload your logo here and we will come back with a mockup and a price.
Quick answers
