A team jersey order goes wrong in predictable places: the date, the roster and the approval. This checklist puts them in order.
1. Fix the date
Work back from the first match. Dispatch is 4 to 30 days from approving the mockup, depending on the count and the design, and the date comes in writing with the mockup. Add delivery time and a few days to spare.
2. Agree the budget
Jerseys are ₹599 half sleeve and ₹699 full sleeve, juniors for less. Multiply by the squad plus two spares, then decide whether shorts, trackpants or caps are in this order or the next. See the price guide.
3. Decide who approves
One person approves the mockup for the team. A design approved by a group chat is approved by nobody. Give that person the final word on colours, spellings and sizes.
4. Brief the design
Colours, crest, any sponsor and its position, collar or round neck, half or full sleeves. A sketch or a reference photo helps. See design ideas and where names and numbers go.
5. Build the roster
One sheet: printed name, number, size, sleeve. Check it against the squad list for duplicates and spellings. See getting sizes right.
6. Order a sample if you can
One jersey is a real order. Play in it, wash it, pass it round for sizing.
7. Approve the mockup
Read every name and number on the mockup, not the roster. Changes to the mockup are free; changes after approval are a reprint.
8. For colleges and companies
Ask for a GST invoice with the institution's or company's details, and say whether the set goes to one address or to several.
