Cotton or polyester for a run
Cotton is comfortable for a 5K walk, the breakfast after and the club photo, but it holds sweat and gets heavy over a long run. For running itself, polyester is the right fabric. Ours is the Active Polo: 200 GSM polyester Airtex, moisture-wicking, anti-microbial and UPF 50+. For a round-neck race shirt printed edge to edge, we make sublimated polyester jerseys, which have their own pages.
What it costs
A cotton crew neck with a small chest print is ₹465 + GST for 1 to 9 pieces, ₹395 from 25 and ₹330 from 100. The Active Polo with a chest print is ₹550 for 1 to 9, ₹470 from 25 and ₹395 from 100. A run club of eight can order eight. Shipping is added at checkout.
How long it takes
Up to 50 pieces in stock colours with a DTF print or embroidery are dispatched from 4 days after you approve the mockup. A corporate run of several hundred can take up to 30 days. The dispatch date is on the mockup.

The Sunday long run
A club in one bright colour on the road at 6 a.m. is easier for drivers to see, and for the group to keep together. Yellow, woody orange and ice green are all stock colours on the Active Polo.

The race bib
Bibs are pinned across the middle of the chest. Keep the front print small and high, on the left chest, and put the club name across the back where the runners behind you will read it.

The finish photo
The shirt in the medal picture is usually the one people change into after: a cotton tee with the club, the race and the year, dry and clean for breakfast.

On a charity walk or a cyclothon, the back is a billboard. One line, set large, readable from the other side of the road.

How a running shirt is printed.

DTF print
Works on cotton and on the Active Polo's polyester, in full colour, from one piece. A chest print at A6 (₹50 at 1 to 9 pieces) sits above the bib.

Sublimation
For polyester jerseys only. The design is dyed into the fabric edge to edge, so it never cracks or peels. That is a jersey, not one of our cotton tees, and it is priced on the jersey pages.

Embroidery
Better on the club polo you wear off the road than on the shirt you run in, where stitching can rub over 21 km. Print what you run in; embroider what you wear after.
Plan it
When to order, counted back from race day.
- Five weeks before
Decide which shirt is for running and which is for after. Get the club logo and any sponsor's file.
- Four weeks before
Collect sizes and names. To run in an Active Polo before ordering for the whole club, order one first; a single piece is an order.
- Three weeks before
Approve the mockup. Up to 50 in stock colours with DTF or embroidery are dispatched from 4 days after approval; a big corporate run can take up to 30 days.
- Race week
Wash it and run in it once before race day. In Bengaluru, the box can be collected from a Merch Lab.

How much do run club t-shirts cost?
A cotton crew neck with a chest print is from ₹465 + GST; the polyester Active Polo with a chest print is from ₹550. At 100 pieces or more they come down to ₹330 and ₹395. Shipping is added at checkout.
Are cotton t-shirts good for running a marathon?
Not for the race itself. Cotton holds sweat and gets heavy over distance. Run in polyester, our Active Polo or a sublimated polyester jersey, and keep the cotton tee for the finish line.
What is the minimum order for marathon t-shirts?
There's no minimum. One shirt is an order, and the price drops at 10, 25, 50 and 100 pieces.
Can each runner's name go on the back?
Yes. Send the list of names and sizes, and each shirt is printed with its own. You check every name on the mockup.
How fast can you make t-shirts for a run?
Up to 50 pieces in stock colours with a DTF print or embroidery go out from 4 days after mockup approval. Big runs take up to 30 days. The date is confirmed on the mockup.
What should a cyclothon team wear?
Polyester, not cotton. A sublimated jersey breathes far better on a long ride; see our jerseys for events page for what we make.
Will the front print be hidden by the race bib?
Not if it's on the left chest at A6, 10.5 by 14.8 cm at most. It stays clear of a bib pinned at the stomach. Put the big design on the back.
Do you give a GST invoice for a corporate run?
Yes, with the company's GSTIN on it.
