Volunteer t-shirts that people can find in a crowd
For the NGO running a relief drive, the CSR team taking 80 colleagues to a lake on a Saturday, the blood donation camp in the cafeteria. A shirt that tells a stranger who to ask, a colour for each role, the funder's logo where the funder wants it, and a price you can defend in the budget meeting.
Crew neck tees from ₹465 + GST with one print, ₹330 each from 100. With "Volunteer" across the back at A4, ₹435 each from 100.

The short answer
Volunteer t-shirts, answered.
What a volunteer t-shirt has to do
Be seen and be understood. A volunteer shirt for an NGO drive, a CSR volunteering day, a cleanup or a blood donation camp usually carries the organisation's logo on the chest, the role in large letters on the back ("Volunteer", "Coordinator", "Medical"), and a funder's or partner's logo where their agreement asks for it. Different roles can wear different stock colours in the same order. These are cotton tees and polos, not reflective safety wear.
What it costs and how long it takes
A crew neck with one chest print is ₹465 + GST for 1 to 9 pieces, ₹395 from 25 and ₹330 from 100. With the role printed at A4 on the back, it's ₹520 each from 25 and ₹435 from 100. Up to 50 pieces in stock colours with a DTF print or embroidery are dispatched from 4 days after you approve the mockup; bigger orders take up to 30 days. Shipping is added at checkout, and the GST invoice carries your GSTIN.
Make the drive work
Where a volunteer shirt earns its cost.
- 01
The first ten minutes
Sixty people arrive at a beach at 6:30 a.m. and nobody knows who is in charge. Coordinators in a different colour from everyone else, the word on their backs, and the briefing starts on time.
- 02
The donor at the desk
At a blood donation camp, the person who is nervous about the needle needs to know who is a volunteer, who is registration and who is medical. Three colours do that without a single sign.
- 03
The relief queue
When supplies are handed out, people want to know who is giving them. Your organisation's name in the local language, large on the back, answers that before anyone asks.
- 04
The report to the funder
The photo in the CSR report and the funder's social post. Their logo is in it, clean and the right size, because it was agreed on the mockup and not squeezed in at the end.
Ideas to start from
Three volunteer looks NGOs and CSR teams ask for.
Starting points. Your logo, your roles, your funder and your language go in.

Logo, roles and the funder: how each is done.
- 01
DTF print
The role on the back, both logos on the chest, the local language, all in full colour from one piece. A6 on the chest is ₹50 at 1 to 9 pieces and ₹35 from 100; an A4 back is ₹145 to ₹105.
- 02
Embroidery
For the coordinator polo that gets worn at every drive for a year. A dense left-chest logo is ₹50 to ₹60 a piece, with ₹300 once to digitize under 100 pieces and free from 100.
- 03
Screen print
For a campaign of several hundred identical shirts in one or two flat colours. Ask for it on the quote alongside DTF and compare.
Plan it
When to order, counted back from the drive.
- Four weeks before
Get the budget per head approved using the prices above. Ask the funder for their logo file and any rules on where it may sit and how large.
- Three weeks before
Close sign-ups with size and cut as required fields. Approve the mockup and send it to the funder's team before you pay.
- From 4 days after approval
Up to 50 pieces in stock colours with DTF or embroidery are dispatched. A few hundred, or a detailed design, can take up to 30 days.
- Drive week
Delivered to the office, the NGO, or each city's chapter. In Bengaluru or Chennai, collect from a Merch Lab.
The group
The budget conversation, in plain numbers.
- 01
Spend on what is seen
One big role print on the back does more work than prints on the front, back and both sleeves. Each extra print is priced by its size, so cut the ones nobody reads.
- 02
Count the tier
The price per shirt drops at 10, 25, 50 and 100. If the drive has 92 people, ask what 100 costs; the extra eight can be spares for walk-ins.
- 03
Once or again
A shirt for a single cleanup can be the Classic crew neck. Staff who will wear it every month are worth a polo with an embroidered logo.
- 04
Approvals
The mockup and the price come before payment, so the approver and the funder see the same thing you do. A GST invoice for the whole order.

Before you ask
Questions about volunteer t-shirts.
What is the cheapest way to print volunteer t-shirts for 100 people?
One print on a Classic crew neck: ₹330 + GST each from 100 pieces. Each extra print adds its own price by size, so choose either the chest or the back if the budget is tight.
Which colour makes volunteers easiest to spot?
In our cotton tees, red stands out most in a crowd. For outdoor drives, the Active Polo comes in yellow and woody orange. Avoid black and navy for evening events.
Are these t-shirts safe for volunteers working near traffic?
No. They're cotton tees and polos, not reflective safety wear. Near a road, have volunteers wear a proper high-visibility vest over the shirt.
How do we put a CSR funder's logo on volunteer t-shirts?
Send the funder's logo file and their placement rules. A "Supported by" line with the logo across the upper back or on the sleeve is common. Share the mockup with their team before you approve it.
Can coordinators, medical staff and registration wear different colours?
Yes. The same design in different stock colours, or a polo for coordinators, in one order and on one invoice.
What should volunteers wear for a beach or lake cleanup?
Something that dries and can get dirty: the polyester Active Polo dries faster than cotton, and darker colours hide mud. Keep the print on the back, away from gloved hands.
Can you ship volunteer t-shirts to chapters in different cities?
Yes, anywhere in India, to one address or many in the same order.
Do blood donation camp donors get a different t-shirt from volunteers?
If you want one, yes. A thank-you tee for donors in one colour and volunteers in another is a single order with two mockups.
Do you make t-shirts for charity walks and runs?
Yes, and the fabric question matters there. See run club and marathon t-shirts.
Start with the volunteer's back.
Put your logo and the role on a tee online and see the price per head, or send the brief and we lay out the set.
